“Don’t worry about what you are to say; for you shall say what will be given to you in that hour. It is not you who speak but the Holy Spirit” (Mark 13,11).
“In this time that some of my brother-bishops are maligned and wrongly accused, we the Diocese of Balanga stand by them and support them in their struggle for truth and justice. There are end to lies and calumny. God’s mercy prevails. His truth triumphs. Priesthood is to suffer and to sacrifice. Our episcopacy is victimhood,” ayon sa mensahe ni Bishop Santos.

“Our former bishop in the Diocese of Balanga, Socrates Villegas, was here in the parish church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Orani last December 12. He was the homilist of our newly ordained priest-Father Jersey Prepose as he celebrated his first holy mass at 6pm of that December 12. Let us remember and heed to what our parents taught us “don’t tell a lie.” pahayag ni Bishop Santos
SERVICE, HONOR, JUSTICE?
One of the 10 commandments says, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” The charges of sedition being leveled against us are not only unjust; they are atrocious. They are based on nothing but false testimony. What motivates the supposed witness to give false testimonies is what in fact they should be investigating. The intention is obvious: pure harassment and an effort on the part of the PNP to do, not their sworn duty, but what they think will be pleasing to the higher authorities. They are in effect doing a disservice, dishonor and an injustice to their own institution and to the few remaining people of integrity among their fellow officers in uniform. Perhaps they should be reminded of their motto, which is summed up in three words emblazoned in big bold letters on their coat of arms: SERVICE, HONOR, JUSTICE.
Bukod kay Archbishop Villegas at Bishop David, kabilang din sa mga kinasuhan ng PNP sina Cubao Bishop Honesto Ongtioco, Novaliches Bishop-emeritus Teodoro Bacani Jr., running priest Fr. Robert Reyes, Frs. Flaviano Villanueva, at Jesuit priest Albert E. Alejo.
