Q. Nais lang po naming kunin ang inyong pagninilay kaugnay po sa pagpapakamatay ng isang tao o pagsu-suicide? Ano po ang turo ng simbahan dito?

A. Basta suicide meaning one who puts his life by his own power ganoon no? kaya nga ang simbahan ay nagko-condemn dito at ang condemnation ay ang act. Ang ginawang pagsu-suicide ng isang tao because halimbawa ako I’d be taking into my heart the power that belongs only to God. Kaya nga hindi ito puwede na aprubahan ng simbahan. Sa bagay to get life is belongs only to God.

Q. Halimbawa po ang isang tao ay nag-suicide at namatay nga po siya, maipapasok po ba ito sa simbahan? Mamimisahan po ba ito?

A. First of all we have to find out kung may salvation siya o wala. Now this is something that we have to remember that God is really good at alam niya kung ano ang nasa puso ng isang tao. Of course God Know that before He died, He ask for forgiveness kaya nga after all to aks for forgiveness to make an active love does not need time. We cannot condemn to the person who commit suicide. We just go for the law, na it is for the law na we do not have any right to take our life on our own that is why we always condemn  the act but we do not condemn the one who commit suicide.

Q. Yong act o gawain lamang ang kinukundena ng simbahan at hindi po ang taong gumawa nito?

A. Yes. Because God is so good. Kung ano ang nilalaman ng iyong puso ay tatanggapin ka ng Panginoon.

Q. kaya ko po ito natanong bishop kasi po ang asawa nga po ni Ted Failon ay sinasabing nagpakamatay so, nandoon pa rin po ang turo ng simbahan na mamisahan  poi to sa loob ng simbahan?

A. Oo sa bagay kung may reason naman na going to the church no? sa bagay meron tayong law not to take ones life. ngayon, supposing they might have, they might be sa kanyang buhay na parang change of mind ganoon, parang he as she is not on his or her own clear position of his mind. Kaya nga she or he might be psychologically affected so it has to be certified by the doctor. In that case kung merong sinabi ang doctor na certified na he or she is not on his own mind when he committed it because of the some problem psychological I dapat pa rin itong ma-isama sa misa o mamisahan because the Church is very kind naman e. basta Diyos lamang ang tanging nakakaalam kung saan tayo mapupunta. As far as going to heaven He has all the means to reach out to a person kaya nga sa easter message ko na si Hudas when he went to Jesus and kiss him binigyan pa rin siya ni Jesus ng chance and forgiveness kahit pa siya ay pinagkanulo ni Hudas. Supposing before Judas gave his
ghost or up his spirit and maybe he said to the Father in heaven: father for give me and it up to the Lord. Halimbawa nga nag hung ka at in your last breath sinabi mo Lord patawarin mo ako, in a split second decision you say o Lord forgive me then the Lord will forgive you because He is a loving God. And again I’d like to clarify we have no reason to condemn sa tao. Ang kinukundena natin ng Simbahan ang gawain na magpakamatay. Even ang mga corrupt officials ay may pagkakataon rin na magbabago ang kanilang puso at mapapatawad din sila ng Diyos. Kaya nga pag may makita tayo na parang hopeless na just open up your heart to the Lord. Kasi ang Panginoon lamang ang makakapagbigay sa kanya ng effective look and forgiveness.

Q. Mensahe po natin sa mga nakikinig sa Veritas Archbishop? At mga nawawalan ng pag-asa sa buhay?

A. My dear beloved people of the Philippines and all over who might be listening to this station, precisely the rising of the Lord and His resurrection is a sign that even that we are burden with so many problems, even if the last recourse you lost your mind, still we have to give the chance that the Lord is good, we shout at Him within the silence of your heart. Because the rising of the Lord is the hope of all of us. Even in times of sadness, in times of shadows and difficulties, the Lord is there, he wants us to see the light.
